Computer Basics 101
If you are scared of the computer---this is the class for you! The "basics" include basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, short cut keys, and more.  Come and conquer your fears or just get a refresher of what you already know.

"The How To" of Web Page Design
We will build a web page from scratch with Netscape. You don't need to know HTML to do this, and you don't need to buy any fancy web-building program, either. We will work one-on-one with you to help you build a web page that is YOU! “WOW” your parents and students with your classy "class" page.

E-Portfolios for the School of the Future
Put your school on the map with E-Portfolios.  Electronic Portfolios are the new, updated way to showcase your student’s work.  We will help you design a program that follows your students from k-12.  These portfolios will allow teachers and parents alike to see the natural progression of their student’s growth. Take your students to new heights with the newest trend in technology.  WebQuests incorporate higher level thinking skills while utilizing student-based learning.  We will inspire your teachers to find awesome WebQuests and create their very own WebQuest to use in the classroom.

Be A Game Show Host in the Classroom!

We will have a hands-on class that walks you through building an easy PowerPoint review game. The game plays like a game show.  Jeopardy, Hollywood Squares, and other review games can be made easily! PowerPoint Basics
Let's dive right in! This is a hands-on class that helps you “create” while you learn the basics of PowerPoint. This is a session that walks you through creating a PowerPoint show to use in your classroom. We will also give you ideas and examples of how to use PowerPoint as a teacher or a student-based tool. For shorter sessions, we can do a hands-off approach that mainly focuses on ideas for PowerPoint in the classroom.

Perfecting PowerPoint for Professionals
Now that you have the basics of PowerPoint, let us show you how to create a game show with PowerPoint.  You can use this idea for review games or student-based assessment. Leave this class with a template for a Jeopardy Game Show and learn how to build your own quiz template with hyperlinks and more! (Extra Fee for created game CD)

GroupWise (it does more than just e-mail)
If you have the GroupWise e-mail program at your school then, you must take this session! We will show you just how much GroupWise can really do. Share folders between teachers, delay e-mail until needed, mark e-mails as urgent, and use the calendar to set up appointments.  Come learn how to get the most out of this software.


Igpro (A+ Abilities)
If you have the Igpro grading program at your school, then you'll want to take this
session! We will show you all the great things that can be done using this program. Igpro does more than just record your grades. Learn how to construct graphs, file notes on students, and create birthday lists along with much more!

This class will expose you to all the great FREE educational places that are out on the web.  We will show you search techniques to improve your journey through the Internet highway. We will show you how a one computer classroom can save time, motivate independent learning, promote classroom projects, and add pizzazz to presentations. We will give you practical ideas, low cost software ideas, and free websites that are all designed to make technology a transparent part of your curriculum.
